GenZ Library is a slang dictionary for reference and entertainment. Content is compiled from community and editorial sources and may include everyday, satirical or not-yet-polished language.
These terms (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the developer of the Gen Z Slang Dictionary app (“GenZ Library”, “we”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using the app, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Usage license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on a device you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app beyond what the law permits.
3. About the slang content
- Definitions and examples are for reference, education and entertainment; everyday language changes fast, so entries may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated.
- Some words may be humorous, satirical or mature in nature. Use your own judgment before using them in conversation.
- We are not responsible for how you interpret or use any word outside the app.
4. Content you add
The app lets you add your own words and save them on your device. You are responsible for the content you create and agree not to enter anything unlawful, offensive or infringing on others' rights. If you send us feedback or word suggestions, you allow us to use that content to improve the app at no charge.
5. Free, ads & in-app purchases
- The app is free and supported by ads (Google AdMob).
- Optional upgrades (e.g. Premium, VIP) may be offered through Apple's In-App Purchase. Prices and purchase types are shown in the app before you confirm.
- Payment, renewal (for any subscription) and refunds are governed by Apple's terms; refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us.
6. Intellectual property
The app, logo, design, source code and editorial content belong to the developer and are protected by law. Third-party trademarks (Apple, Google, etc.) belong to their respective owners.
7. Prohibited conduct
When using the app, you must not: (a) interfere with, disrupt or attempt to exploit the app; (b) use the app for unlawful purposes; (c) scrape or collect data at scale; (d) remove or obscure any proprietary notices.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, including reliance on any definition.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Your use of the app is also subject to the App Store (Apple) terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is posted on this page with a “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the changes.
